Every spring, the excitement around the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks fills the Louisville and Southern Indiana area with energy, tradition, and celebration. For those of us at Express Funeral Funding, Derby season means more than a major event. It is a hometown tradition we are proud to share with the people who have become such an important part of our journey.
This year, members of the EFF team spent Derby and Oaks at Churchill Downs alongside several clients and industry friends. Before the races began, we welcomed everyone to Southern Indiana for a special EFF Run For The Roses Derby celebration at The Exchange Pub + Kitchen in New Albany on the Thursday before Derby weekend.
The evening included great conversation, local dining, and the spirit of Derby season. Guests also signed a commemorative jockey jersey picture. This has become a favorite EFF tradition over the years. It gives us a way to remember each Derby season and the relationships built along the way.
From the grandstands at Churchill Downs to local restaurants and gathering spots, the weekend was full of memorable moments and great company. At EFF, we value every opportunity to bring people together. Derby weekend continues to be one of our favorite ways to share a tradition that means so much to our area.
We are grateful for the friendships and partnerships that made this year’s celebration so memorable. We look forward to continuing these traditions with the incredible community surrounding EFF.
