It was a busy summer for Express Funeral Funding!
Our team spent the season welcoming guests to EFF headquarters and traveling across the country. Along the way, we connected with funeral professionals, supported the profession, and made plenty of memories.
A Summer of EFF Hospitality
We had a full house at EFF headquarters this summer. Several groups joined us throughout the season.
The graduating Class of 2026 from Mid-America College of Funeral Service stopped by for a tour, presentation, and lunch. Plus, we added a little fun before they began their careers in funeral service.
We also welcomed Newcomer Funeral Home for a two-day visit. Our sister company CemSites hosted CFCS meetings at EFF headquarters as well.
Later in the summer, we helped welcome NFDA Leadership to Louisville. The evening at EFF featured food, conversation, Kentucky bourbon, and plenty of Louisville hospitality.
Safe to say, we know how to make our guests feel right at home.
Taking EFF on the Road
When we weren’t hosting, Team EFF was on the move.
Throughout the summer, our team traveled to conventions and shows across the country. Our stops included Kentucky, Texas, South Carolina, Wisconsin, California, and beyond.
In addition, we joined funeral service professionals in Tampa for the 89th Annual NFDMA Convention. Back home, we connected with attendees during the NFDA Leadership Conference in Louisville.
Each stop gave us another opportunity to reconnect with clients and meet new funeral professionals. Of course, we also enjoyed spending time with friends throughout the industry.
Keeping the Conversation Going
The summer also brought new conversations through Funding Foundations.
We welcomed Geralda Aldajuste, Academic Dean and Program Director at Mid-America College of Funeral Service. She shared her perspective on funeral service education and preparing the next generation of professionals.
And there’s more to come! Our next Funding Foundations episode drops October 1st. This episode features Heather Garman, V.P. of Sales and Marketing for Messenger Co.
Summer Well Spent
From hosting and conventions to bourbon tastings and everything in between, we packed a lot into one summer. Most importantly, we spent it with some pretty great people.
We made plenty of memories and strengthened connections across the funeral profession. As summer comes to a close, we’re thankful for everyone who helped make it memorable.
It was a busy one, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
